Welcome to “Xplor the Outdoors with Jim and Patti”, we hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
This week on “Xplor the Outdoors with Jim and Patti”, we are starting off the New Year with a dynamite line-up. Patti will be joining me later in the second hour.
Our first guest and sponsor, Bruce Shanks from Caribbean Solutions will join me with some tips for the skiiers and snowboarders out there to keep from getting snow burnt.
Then in the second segment we’re going ”Cooking with Camp Chef”. Marketing Director Steve McGrath will be joining us with a new monthly segment to not only inform you on what’s new for 2008 but each month we will have new cooking ideas using the Camp Chef cooking products.
Have you ever wondered what those blue and white windmills were in ,many of the parking lots around the country? marcus Tork, from Watermill Express will join me in the last segment to explain those,,, and to show you where you can get GOOD, CLEAN water for urban survival or your next outdoor adventure.
Kicking off the second hour, country western music star, and the youngest on the Mandrell sisters, Irlene Mandrell will be joining me to talk about an environmentally safe, non-lead ammunition that is manufactured by DRT Ammo.
That’s right, not only is she a sensational singer but an incredible huntress as well. When she tells you about the incredible 700-800 yard shots she made with DRT Ammo, it will blow you away.
In the second segment,, a person that has turned out to be a good friend and sponsor of Xplor the Outdoors, as well as the City of San Francisco, Bob Manley, the founder of “The Black Bear Diners” is joining us, not only as a sponsor of the show but when Patti was doing a toy drive for homeless kids in San Francisco and came up short, Bob, out of the goodness of his heart donated $1000 to help with the last minute shopping.

Danner has a new low and mid-top shoe out for 2008. The the EXO Edge and the Formation hiker will knock your socks off,,, in a manner of speaking.
Hope you enjoyed the show this week as much as Patti and I enjoyed brining it to you. Be sure to tune in next week for the “Go Take a Hike” sponsored by Camelbak, Caribbean Solutions and Leatherman. You may win a new Leatherman Wave if you have the right answer to the past trivia question.
We also want to welcome Foxy Huntress, Trophy Blend, The Boone and Crockett Club, Otis Gun, Tiger Light and Sitka Gear as new members of “The Poacher Chronicles“TM Anti-Poaching Team.
