If you missed Sunday’s LIVE broadcast,,,,, click here.
Well this week you get two great shows, one after the other.
We’ll start off this week in the first hour with “The Poacher Chronicles”TM. Then Patti will be joining me in the second hour for her show,”Xplor the Outdoorz Kidz” We are working on getting a new website for the kidz show after the first of the year so bear with us.
My first guest with “The Poacher Chronicles” is Jim Herndon from the Nevada Department of Wildlife. When I was talking to Jim last week he said he had a couple really good cases for you.
In the second segment, Mark Farmer from The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will join me with a great paddle fish poaching story and more.
Then Mike Cenci from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement will wrap up the hour. Washington has such bio-diversity with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Rockies on the other you never know what stories he will have.
Then the fun begins as Patti and I bring you “Xplor the Outdoorz Kidz”. She has got some great kidz on the show this week.
First we’ll be talking to Samantha McDonald an extraordinary young lady that battled the odds. Samantha is a 14 year old girl that went on a Hunt of a Lifetime and harvested an Antelope in Arizona and then went to New Mexico for an Oryx.
Then, “Do You Scuba?” Well, 15 year old Quade Douglas does and he’s a certified diver to boot or in this case fin. Get It? Anyway, Quade is going to join us to tell you kidz just how easy it is to get started and learn about the world underwater. Did you know that S.C.U.B.A stands for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus?. Remember this there may be a quiz later.
In the last segment, 12 year old, Kaitlin Byrnes will be joining us from the St. Josephs Youth Camp to talk about camp life and guess what? She too is a certified scuba diver.
We want to have any child between the ages of 5 and 16 to email us their stories of the outdoors and they could be on the show with us in the future.
They can reach Patti at patti.solomon@comcast.net and me, Jim Solomon at jim@xplortheoutdoors.com .
We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. So, until we meet again,,, have a good week, be safe and God Bless.
We’re Jim and Patti and as always:
“We’re Makin a Difference in Your Outdoor World”
