That’s right, this week marks the debut of “Xplor the Outdoorz KidzTM”. In the second hour Patti will be talking to kids that find their reality in the outdoors.
But first, Suzanne Gilstrap, the Executive Director and lobbiest for the Arizona Sportsman for Wildlife Organization will joining me in the first segment. It’s that time of year again when our legislature looks for ways to balance their budget and, as always they are right their to take money they NEVER pay back from the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Now the Arizona Game and Fish Department does not operate off the general fund. As a matter of fact I think AZGFD is the only state branch that is self-sufficient.
We need to stand up as sportsmen and women and let them know it’s time to STOP the madness and cut their spending. We have the numbers and we CAN call, email or fax our concerns and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Ladies, you don’t have to wear the guys hunting clothing anymore.In the second segment, Brenda Potts from She Safari will be joining me to tell you about their ladies hunting clothing. Their variety of womens hunting and outdoor clothing is huge and made just for women.
Next up, it’s mosquito season and Jennifer Taylor from OFF brand insect repellent will be on hand to talk about repellents, and the effects of DEET.
Then in the second hour it’s time for Patti’s “Xplor the Outdoor KidzTM” and what a great line up we have for you today.
Patti’s first guest is a fifteen year old boy from Dallas,Texas that is new to the hunting world. Alex Franks will be joining her to talk about his experience and how he got started.
In the second segment, the granddaughter of a dear friend of ours is joining us. AnaBelen Gomez, who is also from Texas, is the granddaughter of our friend Maripepa Gonzalez, the PR director of the Westin Hotel and Spa in Puerto Vallarta. We got a chance to go play with dolphins with Maripepa and Ana-Bellen last year and we wanted to have her on to talk about the fun she has with her grandmother.
As many of you know, Patti and I love to ride horses. In the last segment we have Morganne and Conner Barrett from Arizona to talk about their riding experiences and what they are doing now with cutting horse competition.
