As always Patti and I have another great show for you. Patti will be joining me later in the first hour.
Our first guest has an incredible story with a Bald Eagle named Freedom. It’s a story of love, determination, a battle with cancer and the will to never give up. Jeff Guidry will be joining me from the Sarvey Wildlife Center to not only tell his story,, but the story about the Wildlife Center.
Next up we’re talking with Bob Defray from the Hunting Heritage Trust. Our hunting heritage is always under attack and Bob is involved with a fantastic organization to help us keep the hunting heritage alive.
Patti will be joining me in the last segment to talk about “slow food“, victory gardens and kids growing their own food right in their own schoolyards. What a concept,,, as Patti and I have talked about before,, it’s time to get back to basics. Remember the song by Arlo Guthrie, Alice’s Restaurant? Well, Alice Waters really does exist, she really does have a restaurant and Patti got to meet her in San Francisco last week. It’s Alices’ program Edible Schoolyards that we will be talking about.
In the second hour, It’ time to Go Take a Hike, with Ryan Cleckner. Ryan has a lot to talk about this week and yes,we WILL be giving away a Leatherman Wave. So go back through the archives and start reading you may win a leatherman Wave if you know the answer to the question Ryan will have for you.
We hope you enjoyed the show this week,,, Be sure to tune in for the Debut of Xplor the Outdoorz Kidz as Patti and I begin the new one hour kidz show on June 22nd from 8-9AM but only on Xplor the Outdoors with Jim and Patti.
We wish for you all a terrific week, be safe and God Bless.
