I like taking the lead on things like this.   As it sometimes goes you need someone to start the ball rolling once more, so that is what I did today. I brought the first donation of a rod and reel and some plastic baits to Steve Grier over at the Fishermans Choice Pro Shop (another drop-off point) located just south of Thunderbird Rd. on 35th Ave. For donations to Hook, Line and Freedom contact Steve at (602) 993-1139.

This program will continue on until December 31st, 2008 at which time the folks from Packages from Home will pick them up and ship them out to our troops overseas. All monetary donations ( to help ship all this tackle out), can go through the Packages from Home website, www.packagesfromhome.org.
