Jim Solomon, host of the popular “Xplor the Southwest” outdoor radio show, proudly announces the extension of The Poacher Chronicles to one hour, 8am-9am, beginning July 15th. The Poacher Chronicles, sponsored by Armor Holdings, is a monthly trade-marked segment that announces wildlife violators by name, offense, and punishment. During the hour-long segment, three of the twenty-six state members of the Wildlife Violator Compact will join Jim with stories of wildlife violators who steal wildlife from everyone, hunter and non-hunter alike.
Because of his anti-poaching passion, Solomon initiated The Poacher Chronicles eight years ago. Jim was also instrumental in 2005 for working with the Arizona Game and Fish Department and the Arizona legislature, along with the guidance and support of Representative Jerry Weiers, to increase both fines and license revocations for wildlife violators in Arizona. The legislation was signed into law on Jim’s birthday in 2006. For his diligence, Jim received the “2007 Legislative Advocacy Champion Award” from the Arizona Wildlife Federation.
Everyone is invited to join in the hunt for wildlife violators and hear their stories monthly on The Poacher Chronicles, only on “Xplor the Southwest” outdoor radio show streamed live and worldwide on xplorsw.com. Don’t forget to tune into Xplor the Southwest in its entirety every Sunday morning from 7-9 PST.
When asked about a television show titled “The Poacher Chronicles”, Solomon replied, “Imagine the possibilities…”.
