LACROSSE’S ALPHA SOFT SHELL TECHNOLOGY OFFERS WARMTH WITHOUT THE WEIGHT
The Alpha Iceman Keeps Feet Warm from Temperatures –120 Degrees Fahrenheit
PORTLAND, OR – LaCrosse introduces the new Alpha Iceman for fall 2007. Cold weather and pac boots will never be the same due to LaCrosse’s new Alpha Soft Shell technology that provides wearers with all the warmth they need, but without the traditional weight.
The Alpha Iceman is the cold weather boot to rely upon in conditions from –120 degrees Fahrenheit and above. Whether riding an ATV or keeping warm in a treestand, the Alpha Iceman stays true to the LaCrosse promise of providing ultimate cold weather protection (for less than 2.5 lbs a boot!).
Playing off the name of a favorite, the original Iceman has long been worn due to its warmth. A longtime developer of rubber and pac boots, LaCrosse continues to create new technologies to reduce weight and increase comfort. The new Alpha Iceman features Alpha Soft Shell technology, a dual density rubber bottom that is 100 percent waterproof and extremely lightweight. The water resistant brown leather and a soft 5mm neoprene liner provide warmth and comfort. In addition, the Alpha Iceman has a removable 9mm wool felt liner to put the wearer’s warmth in their own hands.
The Alpha Iceman is available in men’s sizes 7-15 (in whole sizes only) with a suggested retail price of $139.
